Movie Haiku:After her mother dies, a grieving daughter finds documents that reveal a lost chapter in the lives of her parents. Gorgeous semi-autobiographical period film turns out to be about French Holocaust survivors who find it difficult to put the horror behind them. Sensuous & heart-breaking, a totally satisfying "movie movie" with a sly sense of humor. NOT YET SEEN BY RICH.
