Movie Haiku:A Jewish teenager leaves his village & makes his fortune in the Budapest of the late 19th Century. The film then follows 3 generations of male heirs (all played by Ralph Fiennes) through the coming travails. Hits all the “bases” (Monarchists, Fascists, Nazis, Communists), but too episodic to fully engage.
