Movie Haiku:Maybe it’s a girl thing? Jan was swallowed whole by the huge surging melodies & over-ripe art direction, while Rich listened to her sighing next to him with affectionate disbelief. This kitchy romanticism comes straight from Puccini, so credit Andrew Lloyd Webber with being smart enough to steal from the best.
