Movie Haiku:Life in a pre-WWII Cornwall village abruptly changes when two sisters (Dench+Smith) find a shipwrecked musician cast comatose on their shore. SPLIT DECISION. Jan loved the nuanced emotions counter-pointed with virtuoso violin, especially in the grand finale. Rich thought the stranger needed more backstory. Pounding surf gorgeously shot on location.
