Movie Haiku:Kevin Costner does a fine job slowly transforming from lovesick law student to hardened sheriff. The infamous OK Corral becomes one moment in a long & mythic life. This Kasden/Costner version of “civilizing the west” holds its own with earlier interpretations (Ford/Fonda, Sturges/Lancaster, etc) & yes, we’ve seen ‘em all.
