Movie Haiku:Complex, well-intentioned exploration of the consequences of America’s oil addiction. Siddig is particularly moving as an Arab sheik who actually wants to use his country’s huge petro resources for the good of his people. Needless to say, he’s doomed. Damon’s the reporter who encourages his ambitions. Clooney’s the CIA guy.
