Key Performances:

  Marion Cotillard
  Jean-Pierre Martins
  Caroline Raynaud
  Emmanuelle Seigner
  Sylvie Testud
Movie Haiku:Cotillard’s committed performance as French icon Edith Piaf is completely undermined by totally incoherent screenplay using bio elements from 1918 to 1963 like the wickets in a pinball machine around which Cotillard (& actresses playing her as a child) bounce, but yikes, there’s not one moment about WWII. ‘Nuff said.
