Movie Haiku:Kudos to production designer Jack Fisk & cinematographer Robert Elswit for their visually eloquent depiction of early 20th Century America, but absolutely everything aural is wrong. The dialogue is over-the-top & the music is shrill. Turns out DDL''''s GANGS OF NEW YORK caricature was just a warm-up not to mention PTA''''s MAGNOLIA Frog-Fest. Feh!
