Movie Haiku:Well-intentioned but poorly realized adaption of an Isaac Bashevis Singer novel about a Holocaust survivor (Silver) juggling three women: his wife (Huston) & girlfriend (Olin) -- both also survivors, & the Polish woman who rescued him (Zajaczkowska). On the page, you can hear God laughing, but on the screen it's played as sitcom.
