Movie Haiku:Sundance-winner about a Honduran teen (Gaitan) traveling illegally to USA who befriends a Mexican gang member (Flores). Luminous cinematography & sincere performances hampered by thin character development & formulaic plot. Fukunaga shows great promise, but he''''s not quite "there" yet.
