TAKING WOODSTOCK

Director:

  Ang Lee

Year Released:

  2009

Jan's Rating:

Rich's Rating:

3.5 out of 5

3.5 out of 5

Key Performances:

  Henry Goodman
  Jonathan Groff
  Demetri Martin
  Liev Schreiber
  Imelda Staunton
Movie Haiku:We agree: Film is weak at the center with Martin & Goodman both "OK" as Woodstock participant Elliot Tiber & his Dad, while Staunton is all wrong as Mom. Neverthless supporting cast is so good (especially Groff as Michael Lang), & Lee does such a good job of evoking the era, that his film gets a "Groovy!" from both of us.
