Movie Haiku:CFIC 2009: Getea Zrubavel and his wife Molo left Ethiopia to give their 4 children a better life in Israel. Immigrant story expertly blends universal story with specific elements, & whole cast of new faces is excellent. Desai (named Best Actor by Jan in 09 Chicago Festival of Israeli Cinema) may speak Amharaic, but otherwise he''s totally Tevye.
