Movie Haiku:American magazine editor (Clarkson) goes to Cairo to visit her husband (McCamus), but he''''''''s delayed, so he sends a local friend (Siddig) to show her the sites. Clarkson''''''''s terrific, but beautiful travelogue cinematography can''''''''t save poorly-constructed & ultimately predicable plot. And Siddig (a very good actor as well as a very handsome man) deserves a more rounded part.
