Movie Haiku:Juxtaposes the lives of 2 French women drawn to the African country of Burkina Faso. Amy (Calmel)was raised by her [white] father but wants to know more about her mother, so she travels to Africa to meet her aunt, but Acita (Yameogo) is none too happy with her sudden appearance. Meanwhile Esther (Richard) holds secrets of her own. Excellent story about identity & roots.
