| | Movie Haiku: | Colin Farrell, typically wasted in PrickFlicks, is perfect here as a lonely Irish fisherman struggling with alcohol. One day he pulls a woman out of the sea in his net, & he''s immediately in her thrall. The plot stumbles a bit with an obligatory "off the wagon" sequence, but most of the time this is a haunting & beautifully shot fable true to its locale. |
