| | Movie Haiku: | Roman soldier (Tatum) & his Britton slave (Bell) go north of Hadrian''s Wall into the Scottish wilderness. Jan loved the dense misty forests captured by cinematographer Anthony Dod Mantle, the anthropolgically-informed sound track, & Jamie Bell, but agrees with Rich that Tatum doesn''t quite hold up his end. Not a single female speaking role, just totally macho heroics. |
