Movie Haiku:Suburban lawyer (Giamatti) juggles obligations in the midst of New Jersey's Great Recession. Jan thinks the plot's "money elements" creak a bit, but we agree all the character development aspects & performances are terrific. Ryan provides sincerity as Mike's wife, Cannavale provides comic relief as Mike's budy, & Lynskey makes a scary yet pathetic villain.
