| Movie Haiku: | Fact-based story of Leopold & Magdalena Socha (played here by Wieckiewicz & Preis) who helped rescue Lvov Ghetto families hiding from the Nazis. Tense drama rests on terrific performance by Wieckiewicz & the excellent cinematographer who quite literally manages to bring just enough light to illuminate the story. The Sochas are now listed as "Righteous Among the Nations" by Yad Vashem. |
