Movie Haiku:Act One: Wedding reception weighed down by hoary cliches. Dad (Hurt) is a sadyr, Mom (Rampling) is a shrew, & sister (Gainsbourg) has a husband (Sutherland) so wealthy, she just keeps pouring money over everything in a desperate attempt to make the bride (Dunst) happy. Act Two: The world ends. Even a Wagner soundtrack & gorgeous imagery can''t save this plotless mess!
