Movie Haiku:Compelling drama about a loving working-class couple trying (Chastain & Shannon) trying to make a go of it in rural Ohio deteriorates into heavy-handed "allegory." Midway thru Jan began rolling her eyes, but Rich kept hoping right until the big mystical grand finale. Too bad real life didn''t provide enough "special effects" without laying on the bs.
