3.5 out of 5

Movie Haiku:Gere plays a super-successful financial wheeler-dealer who seems to have Manhattan at his feet, but pull one thread & it all starts to unravel. Marling is the still trusting daughter, & Sarandon is the wife who has long known otherwise but helped to maintain the facade anyway for reasons all her own. Some 3rd act plot holes bother Rich but Jan was totally hooked.
