| | Movie Haiku: | There was a time when Malick put technique at the service of story, making DAYS OF HEAVEN an all-time favorite but he seems to have lost interest in actual people since then, creating ponderous films with heavy doses of Wagner on the soundtrack. Rich still loves his imagery, but Jan was annoyed. Who are these twirling women with no backstory? "Love" is NOT enough. |
