Movie Haiku:We are not Luhrmann fans but we agree this is his best yet. Spectacular visuals capture the frenzy of intoxication & willful blindness. Maguire anchors the tale, narrating the doomed love affair of his neighbor "Jay" (DiCaprio) & his cousin "Daisy" (Mulligan). Once the fever breaks, the Roaring 20s are over, America is in a Great Depression & he alone mourns. See it in 3D!
