Movie Haiku:Terrific first feature by writer/director Coogler gives heart & soul to the tragedy of a guy killed in San Francisco on New Years Eve of 2008. Excellent performance by Jordan focuses our attention on the daily life of a young African American man--try as he might, the cards really are stacked against him. Rich wanted a bit more plot, but Jan was totally hooked.
