| | Movie Haiku: | SPLIT DECISION: We disagree on this "inspired by" BioPic about an African-American man who rose to become Head Butler at the White House. Jan loved the view of the macrocosm thru the POV of the microcosm, but Rich always knew in his gut that most of the personal story (son #1 in the Black Panthers; son #2 in Vietnam) was manufactured. But we agree that all the actors are terrific! |
