Movie Haiku:BioPic of Ward Allen (Caviezel) based on book "Ward Allen: Savannah River Market Hunter" in which author John Cay (Whitford) narrates tall tales about a time gone by. Visuals of a pre-Industrial South are beautiful & performances are heart-felt, but film wastes too much time on a soapy romance. The wildness in this cultured man (Allen) is a story worth telling clean.
