Movie Haiku:2nd adaptation of Stephen King story in which a teenager with telekinetic powers (Moretz) exacts her revenge on her tormenters at the High School Prom. Whereas De Palma made a Hitchcock "horror film" Peirce is more concerned with psycho-drama, so her take--even with all the same plot points--is more interested in the mother figures (Moore & Greer) & the dynamics of girls in groups. Not yet seen by Rich.
