3 out of 5

n/a out of 5

Key Performances:

  Mariel Hemingway
  Mariel's Parents
  Mariel's Sisters
  Mariel's Daughters
  Archival Footage
Movie Haiku:Tragic history of the Hemingway family is draped in soft "Self Help" imagery as Mariel bounces on trampolines & climbs up cliffs to prove she has everything under control now. While admiring her honestly & tenacity, this telling lacks the rigorous edge that Kopple usually gives to her docs. Most affecting is footage from the doc sister Margaux never finished. Not yet seen by Rich.
