Movie Haiku:The Coen Brothers are now a "Brand" & like Woody Allen they now draw lots of big "names" for their half-baked annual outings. In the center this year is a guy loosely based on Dave Van Ronk, the 60s folk singer who called himself "The Mayor of MacDougal Street." But evocative Greenwich Village locales do not a movie make. The only interesting character on screen is Ulysses (the cat).
