Movie Haiku:Loosely-based on the ABSCAM Sting of the late 70s in which the FBI used a Jewish Con Man to bring down several elected NJ officials. Mess of a film elevates style over substance but is saved from one too many "Law & Order Twists" by great performances from Adams & Renner. Bale is good too. We are split on Cooper, but Lawrence is too over the top to be credible to either of us.
