Movie Haiku:Old fashioned literary adaptation with big thoughts & grand emotions. Excellent actors (old & young) bring life to an important piece of post-WWII history in a place most of us have never been. Nu, not every movie needs "edge." At 111 minutes, NTTL is "short" by current standards, making this "cinematic comfort food" a welcome alternative in our over-wrought era of excess.
