| | Movie Haiku: | Alas, sometimes "less is more." By trying to cover 70 years in 139 minutes, Chadwick reduces one of the most inspiring figures of the 20th Century to a didactic storybook hero. Jan thinks Elba (as Nelson Mandela) & Harris (as Winnie) still manage to have a few fine, revelatory moments, but Rich was most bored by fragmented episodes in this South African history lesson. |
