Movie Haiku:Totally turgid adaptation of Joyce Maynard novel, written & directed by Reitman. Since his adaptation of UP IN THE AIR was very, ahem, "free," I have not idea how much of this schlock--dumb characters & exasperating plot points--to blame on Maynard. Somewhere in there is a "romance" about a depressed woman who falls for a wrongly-convicted prison escapee. Oy! Never to be seen by Rich!
