| Movie Haiku: | Forget anything else you may know about Tom Clancy-based characters. Entertaining "guilty pleasure" about a stand-up guy (Pine) who joins the CIA after grievously wounded in Afghanistan. Costner is great as "the mentor," Branagh plays "the heavy" (a Russian who serves the financial oligarchy now rather than the Commies), & Knightley is the obligatory "love interest." |
