Movie Haiku:When their mother dies, 3 sibs gather in Paris to bury her, mourn her & get on with the business of living. The youngest sister (Kiberlain) stands in for filmmaker Cebula in this semi-autobiographical story. As we mourn these mothers (in life & on screen), Cebula also remembers life as a Polish-Jewish Post-WWII immigrant family living somewhere suddenly fashionable again...
