| Movie Haiku: | Over-hyped melodrama about a California group home for troubled teens in the foster care system. "Grace" (Larson) & "Mason" (Gallagher) are the "House Parents" (altho we never learn what quals they have for this work beyond their own sad childhoods). "Nate" (Malek) is the newbee who gets the orientation really meant for the audience. Award-winning crowd pleaser... but why? |
