Movie Haiku:SPLIT DECISION: Rich had no patience with this new Aronofsky take on Biblical themes, but Jan found herself unexpectedly moved. Despite all the evident flaws (too much mano-a-mano, too many "special effects"), Jan nevertheless found herself in tears as the birds started flying into the ark. For Jan, Connelly also grounded Crowe, keeping him human thru all the sturm und drag.
