Movie Haiku:BioPic about Aaron Lustiger (born in France to Jewish refugee parents in 1926), who converted to Catholicism, rose rapidly thru the church hierarchy & became a key advisor to Pope Jean Paul II. The first half is weighed down by exposition, but once Lustiger-now calling himself Jean-Marie--faces off against Carmelite nuns building a convent at Auschwitz the drama is riveting!
