Movie Haiku:Eric Lomax was one of the British officers captured in WWII & forced to build the infamous Bridge on the River Kwai. In this BioPic, decades later "old Eric" (Firth) is plagued by the memories of "young Eric" (Irvine) until he finally confronts a Japanese officer who now runs a memorial museum. Rich was deeply moved but Jan only felt the drama intellectually not emotionally.
