Movie Haiku:One year after picking up his Oscar for SCHINDLER'S LIST, screenwriter Zailian directed this wonderful film about a young chess prodigy. Josh's parents want him to succeed but still have a "childhood," while his teachers argue strategy & fight their own competitive demons. Excellent cast, especially Allen.
