| | Movie Haiku: | We never saw either of the hyped NYC stage productions (on BW/off BW), so we have no basis for comparison, but for us this RP extravaganza was pretentious, dull & boring. Polanski seems to have cast his pair for personal reasons (ES is his wife & MA is his doppleganger), but they are too old for their roles, they have no chemistry, & the results are an embarrassment. FEH!!! |
