Movie Haiku:We typically rebel when a "serious" film paints its characters too black & white. So despite the excellent performances, this is a squeaker. Hanks is a prominent attorney summarily fired by his upscale firm when they guess he has AIDS. Washington is the (initially) homophobic ambulance-chaser who takes his case.
