Movie Haiku:Always the same problem: Liza is simply too good to be the loser she portrays. But she's so good, who cares? When she's performing in the cabaret (solo or with the incomparable Joel Grey), few movie musicals can compete. Leave the Kit Kat Club, however, & the Broadway version holds trump.
