| Movie Haiku: | Hordes of bad-guys (made faceless by heavy make-up &/or special effects) pursue our heroes – the hobbit Frodo & the eight protectors who accompany him on his journey to destroy an evil ring. Visually beautiful in its enhanced New Zealand locations, but very long & repetitious. Ultimately more exhausting than exhilarating.
