Movie Haiku:Don’t look for political analysis in this first-person account of elite American troops trapped in Mogadishu in 1993. The cowboys circle their wagons & wait for the cavalry, under attack from all sides by the “skinnies” (their ironic name for the famine-starved Somali militiamen). Tremendously powerful, gut-gripping story, extremely well-told.
