Movie Haiku:A petty criminal has himself committed to a mental hospital looking for easy time. When you’re making a list of films that epitomize the ‘60s, this one jumps to the top. But the Nicholson bravado once so appealing has aged badly – he’s less heroic in retrospect & much too self-indulgent.
