Movie Haiku:Three extended families (Anglo, Black & Hispanic) pursue their separate agendas in a Texas border town, but the walls dividing their insular communities have already begun to crumble. Murder mystery, love story, and seamless social commentary, this is John Sayles’s best, most consistently satisfying film to date.
