Movie Haiku:Leone’s last major film contains some of De Niro’s finest career moments, but the most emotionally resonant scenes are carried by the enormously affecting kids who play a group of Jewish gangsters in their adolescence. Story of betrayal told in layered flashbacks, framed by mysteries that are never quite resolved.
