Movie Haiku:Dark, gritty, harshly-lit drama by Indie innovator Cassavetes. Gazzara is Cosmo Vitelli, the "Dorian Gray" of LA nightlife. On the surface, he's a handsome, easy smile, but his true inner corruption is embodied by the Kabuki mask on "Mr. Sophistication," the MC of his strip joint.
