Movie Haiku:Spielberg’s in his well-earned comfort zone in this depiction of the adventures of a young man (DiCaprio) disillusioned by his real father (Walken) & increasingly drawn to his surrogate (Hanks). The film’s graced with a light touch well-suited to the visual style of the early ‘60s (before women were really “players”).
